IGF Conference 2026

As part of the celebrations marking the 96th anniversary of IGF – Autoridade de Auditoria, IGF, in partnership with NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), is holding the conference “New Risks, New Audit: Challenges and Strategies for a State in Transformation” on 8 April, at the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon.

Set against a backdrop of rapid change, the event brings together experts and decision-makers to discuss how public-sector auditing can better anticipate risk, strengthen trust, and deliver greater value as the State evolves.

The programme features two thematic panels:

🔹 Panel 1 | Anticipating Risk: Auditing Before Things Go Off Track
A discussion on proactive approaches to identifying and mitigating risk.

🔹 Panel 2 | Auditing: From Compliance to Results
A conversation on the shift from compliance-based auditing to a stronger focus on outcomes and impact.
