Research Ethics

MagIC follows a well-defined list of procedures in terms of its research through a policy on the Research Ethics and Procedures document that assists the researchers and informs them about situations that might generate the potential for conflicts of interest or ethical issues while conducting research at NOVA the Information Management School (NOVA IMS).

Researchers are required to complete the following Research Ethics Review Checklist, before conducting research with human participants (data collection or obtained datasets). Any additional required documents can be submitted for evaluation by the Ethics Committee by email to ethicscommittee@novaims.unl.pt.

The Ethical guidelines for research apply to academic staff and students in the NOVA IMS Community. NOVA IMS encourages its faculty, researchers, and students to use ethical procedures when engaging in research, in accordance with our academic standards.
