The NOVA Applied Economics & Analytics Lab is dedicated to applying data-driven techniques used in various areas of modern applied economics, including econometric-related (time-series forecasting, macroeconomics/microeconomics, causal inference); and thematic areas (such as quantitative science & technology studies, energy economics & sustainability, data-driven public procurement, Economic Complexity, and economic geography). Our goal is to explore how Social and Techno-Economic dynamics interact as complex systems. We aim to understand the forces shaping our ever-evolving societal and regulatory landscapes.
