About the Project
Artificial Intelligence & Data Science for Public Administration Portugal Innovation Hub
The AI4PA Digital Innovation Hub aims to optimise public policies in the various areas of governance by promoting innovative digital solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
The aim of the Centre is to support digital transformation in the various areas of state intervention by developing innovative services and management solutions, and to increase the skills of public entities and the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that provide them with services.
With the main objective of supporting the digital transformation of national and European public administration, the project will act in six strategic areas:
- Optimising policies in the various areas of governance based on Artificial Intelligence and the promotion of innovative technological solutions;
Improving the quality of services with the involvement of citizens and businesses; - Assessing the social impacts and ethical implications of technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence;
Increasing the digital skills of public organisations and the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that provide them with services; - Disseminate best practices and reusable solutions of national and international origin;
- Improve governance for digital transformation at the various levels of state intervention.
