Wael Soliman

Tenured Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Agder

Wael Soliman is a Tenured Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Agder, where he also serves as Programme Manager for the Master’s programme in Cybersecurity Management. He received his doctoral degree in Information Systems from Aalto University School of Business and his master’s degree in Information Systems from the Hanken School of Economics. His research interests include the lifecycle of information systems use, cybersecurity, and philosophical perspectives on research methods in information systems. He serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS). His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), Journal of Information Technology (JIT), Information Systems Journal (ISJ), Information & Management (I&M), Computers & Security (C&S), The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems (DBAIS), and the European Journal of Innovation Management (EJIM), among others.
