NOVA IMS secures FCT funding for seven research and innovation projects

NOVA IMS has secured funding for seven new research and innovation projects through the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) under the “Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Cybersecurity for Public Administration” call.
Seven out of eight project proposals submitted by MagIC Research Centre were approved, representing an 88% success rate—substantially higher than the call's overall approval rate of 61.4%. The projects collectively received nearly €870,000 in funding, which will support their implementation throughout 2025.
This outcome highlights the excellence, quality, and competitiveness of the research carried out by the MagIC research centre, establishing it as a key player in scientific and technological advancements aimed at addressing strategic challenges in public administration.
