Detalhe da Notícia
What if your next academic adventure took you to the heart of Spain, working hands-on with the technologies shaping the cities of tomorrow?
As part of the European HORIZON-WIDERA project NexTCity – Smart Sustainable Cities Moving Forward with Digital Twins, NOVA IMS PhD students affiliated with MagIC are invited to apply for a fully funded international training program taking place from June 3 to 6, 2025, in Villa Elisa, Benicàssim (Spain).
Hosted by University Jaume I (UJI), in partnership with KU Leuven and NOVA IMS, the initiative includes a thematic workshop and a summer school focusing on Digital Twins, Artificial Intelligence, and 3D Modeling.
A four-day hands-on learning journey:
- June 3–4: Learn to build and optimise 3D models with Blender, map indoor environments, and explore immersive visualisation with ArcGIS Indoors.
- June 5–6: Dive into real-time data integration using ArcGIS Velocity and discover how AI can be applied to predict, optimise and shape smarter urban futures — ending with a gala dinner with peers and experts.
Why apply?
This is more than a technical training — it’s a gateway to a European research network dedicated to smart and sustainable cities. Participants will gain access to cutting-edge tools, expert insights, and opportunities for international collaboration.
The scholarship covers:
- Round-trip travel
- Accommodation in Benicàssim
- Full participation in the workshop and summer school
- All meals during the event (at Hotel Voramar)
- Gala dinner on the final evening
📩 Applications are open until April 24.
