DATALIT - Data Literacy at the interface of higher education and busines

The DATALIT project, titled "Data Literacy at the Interface of Higher Education and Business," aimed to bridge the gap between academic institutions and the business sector by enhancing data literacy among university students. Recognizing the growing importance of data-driven decision-making in the modern economy, DATALIT sought to equip students across various disciplines with the skills necessary to effectively interpret and utilize data in diverse professional contexts.

The project's primary objectives included:

  • Developing a comprehensive data literacy curriculum: Creating educational materials and courses that integrate data literacy into higher education programs, ensuring students acquire essential competencies.
  • Facilitating collaboration between academia and industry: Establishing partnerships to align educational outcomes with the practical needs of businesses, thereby enhancing employability and fostering innovation.
  • Implementing innovative teaching methodologies: Utilizing modern pedagogical approaches, including e-learning platforms and experiential learning, to effectively impart data literacy skills.

By addressing these goals, DATALIT aimed to produce graduates proficient in data analysis and interpretation, capable of contributing to data-driven strategies within their respective fields.
