About the Project

PROCTOGO - Procurement: Digital Tools and Sustainable Goals

The project addresses the growing need for integrating digital competencies and sustainable practices within procurement processes. Recognizing the increasing demand for professionals adept in digital skills and sustainability, PROCTOGO aims to bridge the gap between higher education institutions and the labor market by developing innovative educational approaches tailored to these emerging requirements.

The primary objectives of PROCTOGO include designing and implementing blended courses focused on digital sustainable procurement practices, structured around micro-credentialing learning modules. These courses are intended to enhance graduates' employability by equipping them with specific competencies aligned with labor market demands. Additionally, the project seeks to explore and establish frameworks for micro-credentials, facilitating the recognition, transferability, and portability of learning outcomes across different educational and professional contexts.

Partnership

The PROCTOGO project is coordinated by the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata (Italy) and includes Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), Universität Bremen (Germany), Universiteit Antwerpen (Belgium), and NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) (Portugal).

This consortium unites a diverse range of expertise from leading European institutions to address the challenges of integrating digital tools and sustainable goals within procurement practices.

Our Contribution

NOVA IMS contributes significantly by leveraging its expertise in information management and data science. NOVA IMS is involved in developing and delivering educational content for the blended courses on digital sustainable procurement practices. The institution also plays a crucial role in creating and testing the micro-credentialing framework, ensuring that the learning modules meet the required standards for recognition and applicability in various professional settings.
