The future of business training

Digital4Business will create an innovative European Masters Programme in Advanced Digital Skills. This market-driven academic initiative aims to cater to the evolving needs of SMEs and companies.

Key Features:

  • 2-Year Intensive Course: The program will be condensed into a 2-year format, delivering 2 full academic programs within the four-year project duration.
  • Blended Curriculum: Our courses will seamlessly combine academic and industry content, ensuring graduates possess both theoretical knowledge and job-ready digital skills.
  • Online Learning: Leveraging in-house university tools and new digital resources, we offer a flexible and dynamic online learning environment.
  • Industry-Centric: Designed to align with industry needs, the program operates on a trimester system, mirroring the business calendar. This approach enhances practicality and cooperation with industry partners.
  • Flexible Structure: Each academic year will consist of three trimesters, accommodating part-time students and industry participants. Core trimesters cover AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Data Analytics, with elective modules on emerging technologies like Blockchain, IoT, and Quantum.

Digital4Business consortium, comprising business leaders and academic experts, is crafting a comprehensive online master's program to bridge the growing skills gap in the European job market. Our graduates will spearhead the next generation of digital decision-makers, enriching the European workforce with high-demand practical digital skills and a strong academic foundation. Modules cover AI, data science, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and cloud computing.

This fully accredited, industry-certified master's program will primarily utilize online teaching, with optional seminars, guest lectures, and in-person networking events. The program's practical focus will be further enriched through dedicated work experience opportunities and mobility programs with renowned European organizations. It represents the future of business education.

Our contribution

NOVA IMS is the school of Data Science of the Nova University of Lisbon. NOVA IMS provides education at the highest level to more than 3.000 students including undergraduates, postgraduates, masters and PhD degree students. Within our participation in the Digital4Business Project, we play an active role in the creation of collaborative programs and modules. Our focus lies in incorporating active learning methodologies and integrating teaching best practices for a more effective learning experience.
