SIM4SECURITY aims to build a technological decision support solution, based on public security policies, based on the development of a GIS model and the elaboration of demographic scenarios, which will improve the effectiveness of the operational activity of the security forces. SIM4SECURITY intends to provide a complete and extensive assessment and spatial analysis of the public security sector in light of the State's responsibilities and the expectations of the population, unprecedented in Portugal.
