+ValorCer - Research and innovation agenda for the sustainability of agriculture, food and agro-industry
About the project:
A research, development and innovation (RDI) project aimed at promoting a commitment to quality and traceability in the cereal sector in Portugal, as well as meeting the objectives set by the "National Strategy" and achieving 40% supply levels.
Taking advantage of the "Excellence in the organisation of production" initiative, an RDI project will be developed, which will identify the areas/themes with a real impact on production organisations, focusing on the necessary dual green and digital transition, as well as being able to simultaneously contribute to improving the food trade balance in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable manner.
This project therefore appears to be fundamental to the modernisation of the cereals sector, which, faced with the growing and repeated demands placed on it on a daily basis, must modernise and enhance national production as this is the only way to increase the competitiveness of its producers and their organisations in a globalised world.
