About the Event
The Data Research Meetup by MagIC will bring together the Data Science research community, offering a platform to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the field.
- Keynote Address: Coevolving Adversarial Intelligence in Natural and Artificial Systems
We are pleased to welcome Professor Una-May O'Reilly, a distinguished expert and leader of the Anyscale Learning For All (ALFA) group at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Professor O'Reilly will deliver a keynote address titled "Coevolving Adversarial Intelligence in Natural and Artificial Systems," focusing on the application of adversarial intelligence in both natural and artificial environments. Her presentation will cover the automation of programming for adversarially intelligent software agents, the use of genetic programming to replicate arms races, and coevolutionary algorithms, offering a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in this area.
- Research Presentations and Poster Sessions
The meetup will also include sessions where MagIC researchers will present their work, facilitating discussions and potential collaborations. Additionally, NOVA IMS PhD students will display their research in a poster session, with an award for the best poster to recognize outstanding contributions.
This event provides an opportunity to engage with leading experts, explore innovative research, and participate in the NOVA IMS Data Science community.
